Giving Back

I have always been a big proponent of charity. I have also always been a big nerd with lots of extra CPUs lying around. I love that this technology allows me to marry the two. Giving back directly by helping deserving projects much needed compute time. Check it out if you have some CPUs sitting around doing nothing all the time. I even set it up on all my old phones. If my calculations are correct, the phones are only using around $0.37 of electricity every year, while producing what could literally be a cure for cancer. Money very well spent!

You can see here that I have donated nearly 100 years of compute time at this point. The hardest part for me is waiting for the research papers to come out!
